I love.. love. I love taking pictures of people in love, as weird as that may sound to the average person. Capturing moments of a couple who absolutely adore each other is one of my favorite parts of what I do. That's why I love engagement sessions! 

When I work an engagement session, I rarely have to pose the couple, which is great because posing isn't my favorite thing. I talk to them and let them do the rest while I document how cute they are together. They stand there talking about how how much they love each other, how cute they look, and most every time one makes funny faces to get the other one to laugh. I snap away and get the most gorgeous candid shots.  It's such a fun and unique time for couples. They're in the middle of wedding planning and about to embark on married life. They're in a pre-honeymoon phase and it's just the sweetest thing. 

The couple in the photos above were a lot of fun to capture and was a unique experience for me, because I went to middle school with both of them! I come across clients who attended the same school with me, but rarely middle school friends. This was a lot of fun to do and I think we got so caught up in catching up and taking pictures that we went well over their scheduled session time! But that's okay, because the photos came out fabulous and it was a ton of fun.
